Generic USB Driver Windows 7

If you are having issues with finding a driver for a USB Drive, here's a trick.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\usbstor.inf_
and get the latest directory, copy the contents to
C:\Windows\Inf
Reinsert your USB stick, it should detect it now and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\usbstor.inf_

C:\Windows\Inf
Reinsert your USB stick, it should detect it now and install it.

Brilliant thanks so much i spent a couple of hours in the registry and downloading drivers until I read your post. It fixed it as you said it would. Steve

Thanks a lot, i wasted couple of days in searching the drivers and updating the windows but nothing senses this issue.
I tried the above it was fixed in few minutes, much appreciated.
